Today for our Envirogroup Have a Go session we made windmills with Mr Science. We used straw, wire and beads to make our windmills. We blew into the straws to make them spin - our breath was the wind!

Envirogroup Have a Go Days
Our Have a Go days are very Tuesday lunchtime for Term 1. All students are invited to come and join in. Last week Whaea Lindsey made popcorn string bird feeders with us. We hung these up in trees in the community gardens to attract birds who love popcorn! Some of us took our popcorn strings home to hang in our own gardens. Thanks Whaea Lindsey, it was fun!
